I, like any good American, have kept a close eye on the comings and goings of our athletes in this XXX Summer Olympic Games. I do have to say that I was expecting a little something different.
First off, I’m surprised that there are so many clothes being worn. I guess it is a couple weeks long event and
It’s kind of sexy, I guess.
they do have to build up the story element for it to be considered art, so we’ll have to see how that all plays out.
Secondly, I find it hard to see how they will work some of the sports into the overall theme of the XXX Summer Olympics. I guess I can see how the pole vault is worked in there and badminton uses a shuttle cock. I also could see getting some use out of something called a “pummel horse” (sic), but weightlifting and water polo would really only appeal to those with the most extreme fetishes.
And finally, track cycling is super boring.
Quick Fact: This year’s games also happen to be the 30th summer Olympics, which would be “XXX” in roman numerals. What a fun coincidence!
